Mainly for track use. I put it on high speed at the end of the 1/4, car is cooled by the end of the return road. Just remember to turn it back to automatic mode when racing to reduce the load.

This is only signal ground wire so no requirement for heavy duty switch or wire, it only grounds out the relay signal to activate relay.

The switch I use is the seat heater switch because I don't need it during the summer, however any SPDT Centre Off switch will do. 

You could also just use a Single Pole switch (sp) and just use high speed.
